The Nineteenth Annotation Retreat of the Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius of Loyola: an Invitation to Meet Christ in Prayer

On Saturday, September 13, His Excellency Richard G. Henning, Archbishop, ordained four men into the Permanent Diaconate of the Archdiocese of Boston as a Mass held at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Boston.

The Archdiocese of Boston is forming a new class of candidates for the diaconate this fall.

Archbishop Henning joins Pope Leo XIV in asking Catholics to observe Fri, Aug 22, the Feast of the Queenship of Mary, as a day of prayer and fasting for peace and justice, especially for those suffering in Ukraine, the Holy Land, and around the world. May Mary, Queen of Peace, intercede for us and lead us on the path of peace. ️️ #BostonCatholic #PrayForPeace

Mother Olga of the Sacred Heart extends an invitation to you and your wives to attend a grand pro-life event in Boston on Saturday, October 4th, that the Daughters of Nazareth is sponsoring along with the Archdiocese Pro-Life Office and the Men of the Divine Mercy prayer group.

The funeral Mass for Pope Francis will begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 26, in St. Peter's Square. It will be presided over by Cardinal Re and will conclude with the transfer of the coffin to Saint Mary Major, where the burial will take place.

Please see the attached flyer and invitation for the wives of deacons/candidates to participate in Meeting Christ in Prayer. This prayer experience is based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius. Claire Nicholson (wife of Dcn. John Nicholson) and Peggy Higgins (wife of Dcn. Geoff Higgins) will lead this experience via ZOOM this fall. This is the third time they have run this program and it has been greatly appreciated and well-received.

The Family Life team has planned a gathering, “Let Anyone who Thirsts Come to Me: A Healing Mass for those Impacted by Divorce & Separation” on Tuesday night, April 30th at the Pastoral Center in Braintree.
